18Ni300 Maraging Steel Produced via Direct Energy Deposition on H13 Tool Steel and DIN CK45

چکیده

The quality of metallic additive manufacturing outputs is heavily dependent on the employed processing parameters. Hence, assessment and definition input variables appropriate to material in question vital importance, order optimise attainable properties minimise wasted feed stock failed trials. In this work, optimal parameters for 18Ni300 Maraging steel are found deposition an H13 substrate. Additinally, influence pre-heating depositions a DIN CK45 analysed by optical microscopy (OM) microhardness measurements along interface, mechanical characterisation DED-produced performed, as well bi-metallic alloy comprised CK45, through production testing tensile specimens.
